TML Record Set in Sim #3 by Morgan....

Unlikely Player Gets 5 Hits for Maple! Tuesday, April 17th, 2012: Jeff Morgan really did a number on the Bombers in the Maple 11-5 victory. Not just anyone can get 5 hits in 6 at-bats. But Jeff Morgan did just that today for the Marauders and gave his batting average a healthy boost and sparked his club in the win.

"I felt real good in the batter's box today. I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done," the 28-year-old second baseman said after his record-setting performance.

Jeff Morgan doubled in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, struck out in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

This season Morgan is swinging the bat at a .339 rate with 19 hits in 56 at-bats. To date he has hit no home runs, scored 6 runs and driven in 6.
